Sarah and Erik had a summer wedding at The Pearle Hotel in Burlington. It was important that their day be elegant, timeless, and full of unique experiences for their guests. This meant we paid special attention to adding personal and memorable guest experiences throughout the planning process.

Upon arriving, guests were greeted by lush blue and white florals designed by Sue Gallo Designs. A string quartet led by Violin by Cecilia played softly as guests took their seats. Sarah walked the aisle in a beautiful, modern Eva Lendel gown from Tiled Veil, complete with a cathedral-length blusher veil.

After the ceremony, the team began to flip the space for cocktail hour, unveiling the first big surprise for guests! Upon returning just a few minutes later, guests would find a large boxwood wall with a sign that read “ring bell for champagne”. Upon ringing the bell, a white-gloved hand would pop through the wall with a fresh glass of bubbly! If you’re planning a wedding at The Pearle Hotel, we recommend splurging to use the space exclusively. This allows you to utilize the whole floor, providing plenty of room for guest activities and mingling!

As we transitioned to the Edgewater Room for dinner, guests received a “Highlight of the Day” card. Inspired by a cottage tradition in Erik’s family, we encouraged guests to share their favourite moments from the day. The family tradition involves taking a shot if your Highlight of the Day does not meet the standard. However, we opted to skip this part for the wedding!

This wedding at The Pearle Hotel had over 200 guests, so we brought in a secondary bar to position on the dance floor! This allowed guests to keep their drinks full without leaving the party – a win-win if you ask us!
